...is a painting I'm doing for a colleague whose anniversary is coming up. Watercolor suited the particular photograph well, while I always added in my trademark technique...salting.

I've always tended to be a little heavier on the technique than most people, but I've found I like it better that way. It crazes in a way that comes close to nothing else, except perhaps Mandelbrot sets (which I adore for their mathematical and artistic qualities).
